Membership

The Austin Childcare Providers Network (ACPN) is the first established childcare network to promote quality early childhood educational services on the Westside of Chicago. ACPN has an active membership of 80 childcare providers and 7 center-based daycare facilities in the following communities: Austin, Maywood, Bellwood, North Lawndale, Humboldt Park, Garfield Park, Elmwood Park and Round Lake. 

ACPN  and its network  are committed to working together to support and build sustainable businesses, encourage ongoing professional development and increase family strengths. These services have been presented through product donations for families, developmental screening support, Head Start Partnerships, Financial Management training, Rush University partnership and C2K programming.

These membership offerings along with our advocacy efforts have increased our ability to address equity issues within the early care sector that relate to educators’ concerns, and elevate physical and mental health issues caused by toxic stress at the local, state and federal levels. ACPN is one of the few early care associations within the Chicago area who have been effective in advocating matters with political and early care leaders.
